Manuscript Styles
We welcome papers reporting on research in progress, completed research, view points or book review.
Submissions should conform generally to the American Psychological Association format.
All submissions must be sent by e-mail attachment. The file name of your attached manuscript should include full name of the first author and date of submission. For example, Tim Dawson 2 Sept 2009. The editors reserve the right to return poorly edited or improperly formatted manuscripts.
When a manuscript is submitted by email attachment to the on-line International Journal of Language, Society and Culture, its author should include the following declaration in the email:
Manuscript PreparationThe author warrants that the submitted manuscript is original, is not under consideration by another journal, and has not been previously published. I accept responsibility for releasing this material on behalf of any and all co-authors.
Full name of author, address, email address and date.
Authors are asked to submit contributions in the following format:
- Paper size: A4;
- Margins: Top, Bottom, Left, Right set to 2.5 cm;
- Word length for each paper should not exceed 5000 words;
- If possible, use EndNote as reference manager;
- Use Microsoft Word for text;
- Spell out all acronyms at first use;
- Typeface and font: Arial, 10 point, single spacing; and
- Author to identify key works for indexing.
- Title: Avoid long title. It includes manuscript title followed by authors' names and affiliations, and should be centred aligned.
- Key words: Include 3 to 5 key words (for indexing purposes) with your manuscript.
- Abstract: Approximately 200 to 250 words.
- Text: Use font Arial, size 10pt, left justified for body text. Do not use number for sub headings.
- References: Maximum 50 items. Use APA reference style.
- Tables, legends, figures, illustrations should be properly labelled.
- You are encouraged to use the defined word template given below for your manuscript.
