This project is leading towards a better understanding of the principles underpinning the use of ICT in classrooms including online learning. These principles should help inform the on-going analysis, design, development and implementation of improved teaching and learning practices involving ICT.

These principles are also the key elements of reflective practice, continuous improvement and the development cycle:

As a second strand in the theoretical considerations the project will explore the context in which the activities are undertaken. This introduces an additional aspect for investigation, viz, alignment of

The project has adopted the notion of action learning as articulated by Revans as a starting point for considering the relationships between previously held knowledge, activity, experience and learning.
