The role of the teacher in an action

provide some of the scaffolding. Examples,

Kidspiration with the class to plan the learning activities to be undertaken

similarly templates may provide a useful starting point
(scaffolding) for
a particular publishing and communication activity

in a more extensive activity the interaction around the
activity can progress without having to change the technology or even the
document concerned. Software that is used to plan a learning activity
may well become a tool used in managing and completing the activity as well
as presenting the outcomes to others.
