Access to Education Computers after hours is available for all students currently studying in the Faculty of Education. These computer labs require
a proxy card (small swipe card) to get in. Please note that proxy
cards are not cross campus. If you need access to both campuses
24 Hour Access Education Computer Laboratories, you will need
to obtain 2 proxy cards (1 from Launceston and 1 from Hobart).
Launceston Campus
B Block Computer Laboratories require a proxy card
to access the computers after hours.
To obtain a proxy card for access to Education Computer Laboratories
in Launceston you need to do the following:
- Obtain Access Form from Education General Office or Computer Lab area.
- Fill in form and get it signed by an Education IT support
Officer
- Present signed form to the university cashier and pay
10.00 dollars (non-refundable)
- Take receipt, signed form and Student ID card to security
desk open 11am-12pm weekdays
- Receive Proxy Card
Please note that all Proxy cards expire on the 12th December
of the given year. Students who already have a proxy card from the previous
year need only to complete form, get it signed and present
with their current Student ID card to the security desk for
re-enabling.
Hobart Campus
H215 the 24 Hour Computer Laboratories require a proxy
card to access the computers after hours.
H519/520 (the honours and PhD labs) require a personalised
key code available from the Reception on the fourth floor
of Hytten Hall.
For access to either of these Laboratories please fill in
the form available at the Reception on the fourth floor of
Hytten Hall.
