Usernames
Upon enrolling at the University you will be created a username
that will stay with you throughout your time at the University
as a student or staff member. This username is sometimes referred
to as your "POP username" or "E-Mail username",
but they will all be the same. Your username will appear on
your enrollment form, it is the first part of your e-mail
address (before the @ symbol.)
The 3 Passwords
As an enrolled student or staff member in the Faculty of
Education you will have three passwords. It is recommended
that you make all of these passwords THE SAME so you
don't forget them. It is also recommended that your password
is at least 6 characters long with at least 1 numeric
character included. These passwords are:
E-Mail Password
Your E-Mail password appears on your enrollment form when
you commence your studies at the University.
To change your email password click on the "Change
Password" link on the left at the Webmail
Login page.
If you forget or lose this password you must go to the Service
Desk in the library, or call 1818 from within the University.

Your E-Mail password allows you to access the following resources:
Education Password
If you are a first year student then your Education password
is set to your INITIAL E-MAIL PASSWORD (i.e. the one
printed on your enrollment form.) However if you have been
studying in any other Faculty prior to your enrollment in
Education then your password is set to your STUDENT ID
NUMBER.
To Change your Education password, log into an Education
computer and press CTRL+ALT+DEL simultaneously and then click
"Change Password." You must enter your old password
in the first box, and in the second and third boxes you can
create a new password. If these last two boxes don't contain
the same password then you will recieve a message informing
you that the password could not be changed.
Your Education password allows you access to the following
resources:
- Log in to any Education computer (the same for both campuses)
- Remote access to the files
in your server account (from home or a non education computer)
Novell Password
Your Novell password will be provided on your enrollment
form however you will never need to use it if you intend on
using Education computers only.
If you forget or lose this password you must go to the Service
Desk in the library, or call 1818 from within the University.

- Log onto ITS computers in the Library and other non-Education
computers
